The Document Vault is a secure, wallet-linked storage area in your Hypertron dashboard where compliance checklists and business documents are saved and organised. Documents stored here are associated with your Stellar wallet address — they load automatically when you connect the same wallet — and they persist across sessions so you can return to them at any time. Navigate to Dashboard → Document vault (/dashboard/document-vault) to view your saved documents. Your Freighter wallet must be connected to load the vault.

What is stored in the vault

The vault currently holds compliance checklists generated by the Compliance Checker (/dashboard/compliance-checker). Each checklist is a structured list of regulatory action items with individual checkboxes that you can mark as complete over time. Each vault item includes:
FieldDescription
TitleThe name of the checklist or document
TypeDocument type label (e.g. compliance_checklist)
Saved dateWhen the document was added to the vault
ItemsIndividual checklist rows with a done/not-done state
Documents are retrieved by wallet address. If you connect a different Freighter wallet, you will see a separate vault. Always connect the same wallet you used when the documents were first saved.

Generate and save a compliance checklist

The most common way to add a document to the vault is through the Compliance Checker.
1

Open the Compliance Checker

Go to Dashboard → Compliance Checker or click Open Compliance checker from the Document Vault page header. The Compliance Checker analyses your business profile against the applicable regulatory requirements.
2

Review the generated checklist

The Compliance Checker produces a checklist of action items tailored to your business type, jurisdiction, and the services you offer. Review each item to confirm it applies to your situation.
3

Save to the vault

Click Save checklist (or the equivalent save action in the Compliance Checker). The checklist is written to the vault under your wallet address and immediately appears in the Document Vault.

View and manage saved documents

In the Document Vault, each saved checklist appears as a card with:
  • The document title and type label
  • The date it was saved
  • A list of all checklist items, each with a checkbox showing its current status
Checkbox states are persisted — if you previously marked items as complete, they remain checked on your next visit.
Use the checklist items as a living compliance to-do list. Work through each item with your legal or compliance team, checking them off as you complete them. The vault preserves your progress.

Empty vault

If you have not yet saved any checklists, the vault page shows an empty state with a direct link to the Compliance Checker. Generate your first checklist there and save it to populate the vault.

Linking documents to payment workflows

Documents in the vault are tied to your business wallet — the same identity that underlies your payment links, withdrawals, and onboarding bundles. This means your compliance posture (tracked in the vault) is always paired with your payment activity under the same Hypertron account, giving you a unified record of both operational and compliance work. If you need a compliance checklist that corresponds to a specific workflow stage or client engagement, name the checklist accordingly when saving it (e.g. KYB checklist — Acme Corp — April 2026). The title is freeform and searchable within the vault.
The Document Vault does not currently support file uploads (PDFs, images, contracts). It stores structured checklists generated within Hypertron. For external document storage, maintain your own secure file system and reference document names or IDs in checklist item text.
